He began his HR consulting career in Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in 1990, where he was His primary experience and passion is in HR Transformation: helping organisations create workforce performance through effective human resources strategy, operations, processes and technologies.
He was Executive Partner in Accenture’s Human Capital Service Line where he led many of Accenture’s HR Transformation programmes across Europe.
In 2006, Tim was recruited to IBM Global Business Services where he was Vice President and Global Leader of IBM’s Human Capital Management consulting practice.
Tim founded IBM’s SuccessFactors and Workday implementation practices, in 2007. He helped architect and lead some of the largest global Cloud HR programmes. He was also Executive Sponsor of IBM’s internal HR Transformation Programme.
Tim has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He is an author and popular conference speaker, who most recently co-authored the Harvard Business Review book on HR analytics, Calculating Success - published January 2012. He is currently working on his second book titled, Cracking the Productivity Paradox, due to be completed in mid-2019.
